What Is the New England Jewish Experience?

Did you miss the January 24th conference?

Do New England Jews share a common experience?

Is there a regional identity?

What resources are available for studying New England’s Jewish history?

We have been working with our counterparts in other states to form the

New England Jewish History Collaborative.

The Jan. 24th program, titled “what is the New England Jewish Experience?” explored these questions, and celebrated the launch of a new resource guide and website. Prof. Michael Hoberman of Fitchburg State University gave a keynote address followed by a panel discussion with representatives from six New England states, including JHSGH director Elizabeth Rose.

The event was hosted by the Wyner Jewish Heritage Center in Boston.
