In the spring of 1951, Jewish Historical Society founder Emma Cohen traveled with her husband Morris Cohen to Israel, along with his parents, and documented their trip with a scrapbook of snapshots and over a hundred full color Autochrome glass slides.
These hidden treasures from the archives, carefully digitized and reproduced, are now available for public access in this new exhibit.
Stop by the JHS office Tuesday or Thursday afternoon to experience this unique glimpse into Israel’s history, or call for an appointment.
