Beth Hamedrash Hagadol Synagogue, also known as the Garden Street Synagogue, was the synagogue for an Orthodox congregation organized in 1905. In 1921, upon merging with Shaarey (Sharah) Torah, the congregation built the Garden Street synagogue, where the congregation remained until 1962 when they merged with Ateres Kneset Israel to become the United Synagogues of Greater Hartford.
