The first congregation to be built in Connecticut, Congregation Beth Israel (presently Charter Oak Cultural Center) and the landmark sites of the former Agudas Achim and The Emanuel Synagogue.
The places where people worked, worshipped, shopped, and played as they built lives for themselves and their families.

All tours will begin and end at the Community Services Building, 333 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford. Tours are expected to last approximately three hours, but are subject to change. Please note that some buildings require climbing stairs and participants unable to visit these sites may remain on the bus.

Scheduled tours will take place 1-2 times per year, and private tours for students and adult groups can be arranged by calling the Society office.
Tour Cost: $26.00/per member, $28.00/per non-member
Group Rate: 8 or more at $20 per person. Please contact the Society for detailed information on group rates.

All reservations require payment with registration form prior to tour date. There are two ways to pay for the tour*:
#1. Send a check for the total amount made to the JHSGH to: 333 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117 (write "Hartford tour" on check memo)
#2. use your credit card on the PayPal tab below the first registration form.
Please remember to fill out both forms -- the information form and the PayPal credit card form in order to complete your reservation.
